I found this article very interesting because it shows an example of a huge company going out of their way to try something fresh and new. It should be obvious that this is a big thing for a company to try, seeing as to how they made it a big publicity act just to show they are trying it. The article basically talks about how the new CMO at AT&T Business, Mo Katibeh, is trying to market their products as solutions to their customers problems. Normally products are marketed as individual items that just do the thing they normally do, Katibeh is trying to change how the company presents these products to their customers as solutions to every problem they could have. The value proposition of the company is that they can be there for their customers and solve any problem they might have. This was mainly a new product launch type of marketing, or at least they seem to be unveiling a new way in which they will continue to do business. They are trying to overcome the idea that big companies are stagnant and never try to please the customer. If I was a brand manager at AT&T I would do the same thing they are doing. Big companies need to follow suit to try and survive in this modern market. The marketing approach was overall very good. I learned that real life companies try to defy the old saying, "You can't teach an old dog new tricks."
