My First Marketing Post

TOPIC 1:
        I was prompted to enroll in this marketing class because it seemed like a very interesting class that I could take and learn a lot of different skills that I could take into every part of the business world that I go into.

        I am a business major and I plan on transferring to OSU and diving into corporate finance. I might change the more exact final I dive into at OSU in the future, but for now corporate finance is where I want to be.

        I am most interested in learning how marketing plans to be changed in the future. Even though I feel we are just on the cusp of what is possible in social media marketing now, I am more interested in delving into the future and whats possible there on the marketing front. I've dabbled with social media marketing for awhile myself now, so it isn't as new to me as it might be for others.

        Outside of college I am very passionate about backpacking and web design. I actually do a good amount of web design for local clients for money on the side

Cheap, efficient, branded laptop with ease of use.  3 Things people are saying on Social Media Post  - People are saying how good the Chromebook is for students of all ages, a good example of this is how I am a student and I have really loved my personal Chromebook so far. Marketing Case Study - Starbucks

BA 223 - Marketing Case Study The company that I have chosen to do my marketing report on is Starbucks. Starbucks is in the news recently because of a incident that took place in one of their stores that many believed to be racially charged. The incident took place in a Philadelphia Starbucks store on April 12th where 2 African american men entered and took a seat while waiting for a 3rd gentleman to meet them there. They were asked to leave because they weren’t buying any products, and when they didn’t leave the store the manager decided to call the police. 2 police officers arrived and asked the men to leave 3 different times, and when they didn’t leave the officers took them under arrest. The 911 call by the manager was made at 4:37 pm, and by 5:00 pm the 2 men were under arrest and on their way to the police station.
